Electronic module with integrated assembly

These radar and microactuator modules are insert molded in-house, and every part is 100% inspected with an in-process automated optical inspection (AOI) system. The press-fit terminals are stamped in house, and the press-fits zone is also 100% inspected with an in-line AOI system

INSPECTION CELLS

+ AUTOMATED INSPECTION CELLS

Inspection, functional testing and part-marking within an integrated machine or cell, incorporating a one-piece-flow approach and data collection and analysis capability within our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system

01 / CAMERA-BASED INSPECTION

High-speed camera systems, with telecentriclenses, high-speed PLC’s, integrated part datum finders, and servo drives

02 / HIGH-POT TESTING

High-potential testing ensures that there is no electrical shorting between terminal pairs

03 / CONTINUITY TESTING

Continuity testing provides assurance of electrical continuity between from connector end to PCB end

04 / PART MARKING

Automated marking allows for part traceability and confirmation that part has been 100% inspected

05 / FUNCTIONAL TESTING

Functional testing includes pressure decay testing for sealing performance, in-line gauging, etc.

+ CUSTOM AUTOMATION FOR HANDLING AUTOSPLICE PRODUCTS

AUTOMATION

Design, development, fabrication, assembly, and debugging of custom automation for connector and terminal handling, assembly, and packaging
