While AUTOSPLICE started in New York City in 1954 and also added a San Diego manufacturing unit in 1980--we combined these operations in September of 1990 in San Diego. We are in a beautiful 60,000 square foot building with about 185 people, many of whom came from the original New York and San Diego operations. All of the marketing, engineering, finance and manufacturing is done here in San Diego. We are extraordinarily proud of our people, our operation and this building. Autosplice Europe GmbH Our manufacturing and sales group in Europe is located in Northern Bavaria, in Nuremberg. AUTOSPLICE GMbH supports all of our European customers with insertion machines and components. The operation has a new, young, and aggressive marketing and manufacturing team in place. Results from this group are strong and they have an enormous growth potential. Customers include SIEMENS, ALCATEL, and IBM. |
Autosplice Japan AUTOSPLICE is located in the Higashi-Kurume suburban section of Western Tokyo. In addition to this plant, there is a pin stamping and spliceband forming operation in Iruma City, which is about 40 minutes away from the main plant. Engineering, sales and manufacturing groups "create, make and market" products for Japanese customers. The expanding Japanese economy has fueled the strong growth of our manufacturing division, despite a high yen to dollar relationship. Typical customers include SONY, TOYOTA, TOSHIBA, and TEAC. |
Autosplice Korea A sales and manufacturing group was established outside of Seoul to support our customers in the computer and appliance businesses. The Korean division was established by, and reports to, our Japan operation. Customers include GOLD STAR, HYUNDAI and SAMSUNG. They manufacture machines and components in a Buchon City factory located in a suburb of Seoul. |
Autosplice Asia Pte., Ltd. AUTOSPLICE ASIA, Pte, Ltd was established in 1993 to service, support and expand the important Southeast Asian market. They are responsible for Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Hong Kong, China, Taiwan, Australia and New Zealand. We see the Southeast Asia area growing at a much faster rate than either Europe, Japan, or the USA. Hence, to better support our customers and to grow the opportunities in this area, we have established this Autosplice unit. |

Autosplice Industria E Comercio Ltd. AUTOSPLICE INDUSTRIA Y COMMERCIO Ltda. is the Brazilian member of the AUTOSPLICE family. Brazil was selected as the site of our operations because it is the largest, and most industrialized country (with the greatest potential) on the South American continent. Despite governmental restrictions that are monumental, this division has established a foothold . . . and is growing steadily. |
